AFPL is pleased to inform that we have successfully completed order of fully finished Centrifugal Castings from reputed International OEM of Hydro Power Plants. We have participated in a tender which was open for all international foundries. We were complying to their stringent quality requirement & various NDTs & other tests. We were not only the lowest bidder but our delivery time for supplying fully finished castings was also lesser. The Customer was happy to get such a high quality casting in optimum pricing in record delivery time.

AFPL is proud to inform you that we have started exporting our Centrifugal Castings to reputed European OEM. The OEM is 100+ year old company supplying Marine Equipments internationally.

The company was looking for high quality fully finished castings at optimum pricing & initially given us trial order. After successful completion of trial orders, the EU OEM has given us number order orders for their ongoing.

AFPL is proud to inform you that shortly we will be supplying propulsion shaft liners for the biggest ship in India – The Aircraft Carrier. We have received order directly from Indian Navy to supply the Liners for port & stbd propulsion shafts. We have participated in tender & we were approved after the stringent Technical Evaluation done by TEC. The tender specification asked for 100% Radiography with Level I as compliance criteria. We had proven references to show that castings produced by us comply Level I in RT. We are the only foundry in India supplying castings with Level I compliance in RT to various Defence organisations.

AFPL is pleased to inform that recently we have successfully delivered Castings to leading Rudder system OEM for Destroyer project under construction in leading Defence PSU shipyard in India.

This project was challenging for AFPL as this was the first time such a big size castings were required in India as it was for one of the biggest ship under construction in India. AFPL accepted the challenge & were successful in completing the project by surpassing all the Naval compliances. These castings for 2 shipsets were manufactured on our biggest Horizontal spinning machines in which we do can 4 meter long castings. The complete manufacturing process was witnessed by QC dept of Rudder system integrator & QA dept of end user of the ship. The castings were tested in proof machined condition & then given approval for further machining. The castings were fully finished in our workshop & again tested for pressure testing, radiography testing & ultrasonic testing & quality was found above expectations.

We are thankful to the OEM for giving us an opportunity to work in this prestigious project & look forward to work with them again.

We are pleased to inform you that AFPL will be expanding to 15000 sq ft area shortly. We are adding capacity of approx 7500 sq ft to existing 7500 sq ft area.

The area was much more required after increasing our pouring capacities to 3000kgs. Recently we bought a furnace to cater our daily increasing need especially the bigger castings require in shipbuilding.

Apart from above the area will also have dedicated area for New CNC machining centre.

We are proud that the Nuclear Power Plants recently built in India have used our castings. We have gone through stringent audits carried out by various organisations involved & come out with flying colours to meet the challenging quality specifications. After successful completion of project for one power plant, the satisfied customer has repeated the order for another power plant under construction. We were delighted by the confidence shown by our customer & plan to complete the order in record time.

AFPL is pleased to inform you that we have successfully supplied Centrifugal Castings to a leading Defence system integrator in India. The reputed engineering giant company has shown confidence in our processes, our team & awarded the contract for supplying around 1200 nos castings fully finished. Each casting has number of spiral groves & tighter tolerances which were done on our CNC machining centre. Customer was happy with the quality of the castings delivered & we expect repeat of similar orders from them.

The audit was conducted by their Indian office & has a stringent Quality, Safety & Environmental policies. The auditors visiting our foundry were happy to see our set up, our capacities & our own quality, safety & environmental policies. The final audit was completed in a record time.
